The Bay Area Legal Marketing Association (LMA - Bay Area) is accepting proposals for presentations for the 2009 program year.

The Bay Area Legal Marketing Association (LMA - Bay Area) is accepting proposals for presentations for the 2009 program year. Our programming attracts on average 50 professionals, including senior marketers and attorneys, and we have received outstanding feedback from our attendees. For the 2009 season, we aim to provide more high-quality programming that addresses cutting-edge issues and new industries, and new approaches to staid industries.

LMA - Bay Area is seeking speakers to present educational programs to its membership that provide strategic, conceptual, tactical and applicable advice for members to take back to their firms and put into practice. We are seeking fresh topics spanning the spectrum of marketing and business development, including competitive intelligence, business development training & coaching, leadership, marketing communications and technology. We welcome presentations on other topics of interest to legal marketers.

Programs are held monthly from noon to 1:30 p.m., at The Bar Association of San Francisco (downtown San Francisco), or at firms located in or around the Financial District. Presentations should be formatted to one hour in length with a 15-minute Q&A.

Please e-mail your proposal (Word document, PDF format or within the body of an e-mail ONLY) to Nicole Harris, Program Chair, LMA - Bay Area, nharris@sheppardmullin.com. Please include "Response to 2009 RFP" in the subject line of your e-mail. The deadline for submission of proposals is Monday, September 29, 2008. We look forward to hearing from the community!
