Award-winning TV journalist Marsha Redmon, president of Washington DC based M Group Communications Training LLC, joins Helen Bertelli, executive vce president of national PR firm Hellerman Baretz Communications LLC, to present "Perfect Pitch: Get the Media Attention your Firm Deserves."

About the Speakers
Marsha Redmon is M Group Communications Training's founder and president. She is a former practicing attorney and award-winning journalist who specializes in teaching lawyers, executives and scientists how to communicate most effectively with the media, clients and each other. Redmon's expertise is in taking complex issues and helping her clients tell the stories behind them.
Redmon taught hundreds of lawyers in the US and the UK to get the media exposure and brand recognition they want through media training, presentation skillsand messaging workshops. As a former lawyer, Redmon understands the concerns and special considerations important for lawyers who talk to the media. She has also coached executives and spokesmen from the Fortune 50 to start ups -- with customized workshops on media interview skills, messaging, and presentation skills.
Redmon's experience spans broadcast news reporting, law and graduate level teaching. She also practiced law at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and Mazzarella Dunwoody. Redmon was a faculty member of the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, where she taught business communications to MBA students.
Helen Bertelli is executive vice president of Hellerman Baretz Communications. A seasoned public relations professional, Bertelli has placed clients in prominent national and international media such as CNN, The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Investor's Business Daily, Associated Press, The Financial Times, Agence France-Presse, Forbes as well as other regional newspapers and industry trade journals.
Before joining Hellerman Baretz, Bertelli launched the marketing department for the national law firm of Ross, Dixon & Bell, developing award winning marketing and public relations programs. Prior to that, she helped manage a team of media relations personnel and several million dollars of revenue at a Washington, D.C. public relations firm.
Bertelli has been published in the Legal Times, Washington Business Journal, and Marketing the Law Firm, and her work has been the subject of articles in Professional Marketing Magazine and PR Week. She is a member of the Legal Marketing Association and a recipient of 2004 Legal Marketing Association Your Honor Award.
