Work with practice section leaders and individual attorneys to develop, plan and implement business development strategies for their practice areas.
Research prospective clients within target markets, industry segments and marketplaces; analyze firm's existing client list to identify client development, service opportunities and trends.
Support practice group and individual attorney activities maintaining a comprehensive follow up system to keep client development plans on track; develop and maintain a tracking system to measure and report results of business development activities.
Participate in the preparation of the annual marketing/practice development budgets.
Specific requirements
- Bachelor's degree (Communications, Marketing, or Business Administration). At least 5 years proven experience in business development in a professional services setting. Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written; ability to deliver executive-level presentations. Self-starter with strong team-building and coaching skills. Must be solutions oriented.
