Anna Czaplinski-Mirek (Ania) joined DLA Piper LLP on October 13, 2008 as Marketing Coordinator, Pitching and Tendering. She was previously with Heller Ehrman LLP as Business Development Assistant.
Ivette Delgado joined Hogan & Hartson LLP on September 15, 2008 as Media Relations Assistant. She was previously an Environment Program Assistant at Surdna Foundation and a Junior Publicist at ID Public Relations.
Barbara J. Jacobs joined Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP on August 18, 2008 as the firmwide Director of Practice Development for the firm’s financial restructuring, corporate, real estate and tax practice groups. She was previously a business development manager at Kaye Scholer LLP.
Simone L. Lutz joined Mayer Brown LLP in September 2008 as Transactions Practices Business Development Manager. She was previously with Linklaters as a Business Development Advisor.
Ana Padovani was promoted to Assistant Manager of Events at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton and Garrison LLP. She will start her new position on January 1, 2009. Ana was previously an Events Specialist at the firm.
